With the EDF international we are concentrating on the relevance of design and art in economic and social contexts. Workshops, networking events and field trips are going to shine a light on the sustainability scenes of design and art in Israel, Palestine and Germany. Additionally we are welcoming guests from our twin towns Istanbul/Turkey and Barcelona/Spain.
Designers, artists, creative thinkers and cultural protagonists are meeting up with sustainability experts to exchange thoughts about the relevance of design and art in the fields of economy and society and to learn from each other.
Therefore we are planning two workshop blocks, two days each, in Tel Aviv as well as in Auja, combined with field trips in Tel Aviv and Bethlehem and other exciting locations that reflect local creativity and sustainability. The ECO DESIGN FORUM in Israel and Palestine will take place from 25th to 29th October 2016 in Tel Aviv and Auja.
In this blog issue we will present our partners, give an insight into topics and impressions of this workshop abroad and present many interesting stories about design, arts and sustainability.
The Onya Collective is group of architects, activists, community leaders, and volunteers who utilize community organizing principals to design public spaces that serve the needs of all of the residents of the area. We met them during our ECO DESIGN FORUM in Tel Aviv.

The premiere of our ECO DESIGN FORUM international in Israel and Palestine at the end of October was a success! Here is a photostory with our first impressions.
The Team from EcoPeace Middle East are our host for the second part of the ECO DESIGN FORUM. We are excited to visit the EcoCenter in Auja and gain insights into the work of EcoPeace. We will meet Malek at this very special place.
