New, different, online! The ökoRAUSCH Think Tank for Design & Sustainability’s ECO DESIGN FORUM international (EDF) will take place virtually for the first time, and with that, it will be the first time that interested people from across the globe can join in the discussion – in our online presentations, workshops and at the big networking event. Another new feature is our coaching programme where participants can benefit from the expertise of the contributors in one-on-one meetings!
How can design contribute to societal change? We are going to sit down with designers and sustainability experts from Germany and Cologne’s partner cities Tunis, Thessaloniki, Istanbul and Beirut to discuss the societal relevance of sustainable design and art. The EDF international offers designers and other creative thinkers a platform as well as further training, fosters their participation in sustainable development and helps them discover their societal and ecopolitical mission.
From June 7 to 30, 2021, the focus of the presentations, workshops, the big networking event and in the new coaching programme will be this year’s topics of Environmental Psychology, UX Design and Community Design/Changemaking.
All programme points are of course free of charge – please register as places are limited! We look forward to your participation!
We organise the EDF international as a cooperation partner of the City of Cologne with the twin towns of Istanbul, Thessaloniki and Tunis. The project is supported by the City of Cologne with funds from the twin city programmes and Engagement Global with funds from the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Our experts will report on their research findings, share their experiences and show best practice examples of the building blocks that make the transformation to a sustainable world a success.
Theory becomes practice – with the help of small exercises, you can dive deeper into the respective topic and expand your knowledge.
After a keynote speech, 20 selected creatives can present their project on our focus topics. Afterwards, the rooms will be open to all interested parties.
Our experts will give you tips to enhance the communicative and participative power of your project.
