Born in 1982, Serkan studied engineering but focused on art and design. He makes illustrations and picture books; interior and furniture design; assemblages and installations mostly for the spaces he designs. His illustrations and installations relate to cities and animals through an imaginary view.
Trespassing is a series of illustrations alongside real or imaginary stories. The stories are on the state of animals in relation to ecological destruction, the questions of consent and ownership, immigration and unforeseen encounters.

Alexandra Kessler is project manager at the Collaborating Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP). She focuses on bringing together actors from civil society, politics and economy to improve sustainability in global value chains as well as sustainable lifestyles especially in urban contexts. Alexandra’s work is based on the belief that active civil societies are crucial to bring about change and are an important driver for sustainable development. She is also personally committed to local grass root initiatives.

Annelys de Vet is a designer and initiator with a critically engaged network based practice. She founded the design label ‘Disarming Design from Palestine’ that develops and distributes useful products from Palestine. She initiated the subjective atlases editions, that map regions from a human perspective, including ‘Subjective atlas of Hungary (2011), ‘Subjective atlas of Colombia’ (2015) and ‘Subjective atlas of Pakistan (autumn 2017). Since 2009 De Vet heads the master in design ‘Think tank for visual strategies’ at the Sandberg Instituut Amsterdam.

CraftedInIstanbul is a collective action project on his research and theses about ‘Craftsmanship In Istanbul’. The project aims to create an online network and a map system of craftsmen that are marginalized to the underground of Istanbul. Its intention is to create a platform which would put a spotlight on craftsmen, bringing together creative industry and craftsmanship into a productive whole, documenting and analyzing the process, and searching for the possibilities of integrating craftsmen into the current design system. (Craftedinistanbul is co-founded by Bilal Yılmaz, Seda Erdural and Barış Gümüştaş)

Among other things, I am a systematic coach, teacher and culture manager. I also think of myself as an aid worker for new ideas, projects and working methods from the business side. I used to do dance, theatre and intercultural projects; I worked for the German Federal Competence Centre for Cultural and Creative Industries and was head of the EU INTERREG project. I went back to freelancing with the label CREATIVE TIDE and, together with former colleagues, I founded Feldstärken.

Daphna Yalon researched the interconnected rela- tionships between ‘House as Home’ and ‘Land as Home’ in Australia from 2004 to 2007. Since then she has been creating, researching and teaching earth as matter and as the essence of life. Engaging communities in processes is an integral part of her practice.
Sensuous Earth is a performance installation that is wandering around the world. In each place the white cube encounters the local earth and its people. The gradual creative relationship is gathered in photos and sound. The recorded process is woven into a story of a particular place, then taken and projected onto another cube in another location. This enables an interaction between humans and earth in/of different locations. The similar reciprocal humanearth relationship is shaped in varied forms, colours and dialogues.
Gabriel is a researcher in the field of Environmental Psychology. He obtained his PhD from the University of La Laguna (Spain) and has been working as a postdoc researcher in Spain and Portugal since then. He is actively collaborating with research groups in different European countries. His focus of interest is centered in discovering ways to improve the theoretical explanations for pro-environmental behavior and sustainability.

Previously having worked mainly in NGOs, Ghadeer Dajani’s passion about interior design led her to work with “Disarming Design from Palestine (DDFP)”. DDFP is an inclusive design label that presents useful products from Palestine. She works with them as the production manager, working closely both with the artists and artisans on producing items that reflect a rather alternative narratives about contemporary Palestine and reflect upon the function of creative practices in situations of conflict.
Laura is a researcher and PhD candidate in Environmental and Social Psychology at the University of Magdeburg. Her research addresses the question of when and why people choose sustainable lifestyles, mainly focusing on the interplay of intrinsic motivation to live sustainably and the costs for realizing this behavior. She is active in a network promoting psychology for sustainability (IPU e.V.) and enjoys the exchange of ideas and knowledge between different agents for sustainability.

Malek Abualfailat is a Project Manager at EcoPeace ME based in Bethlehem and reside in Hebron. He manages Auja Environmental Education Center which aims to increase the awareness of trans-boundary water issues, renewable energy needs, alleviation of pollution, adaptation of climate change, and sustainable agriculture in the area, in addition to promote eco-tourism.
Maria Paz is an art director and cultural manager born in Santiago de Chile, in her youth she did her studies in Barcelona, Spain, where she presently resides.
With wide experience in projects in development cooperation she has worked with projects in Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America, for the World Summit on Sustainable Development - United Nations, Unicef, UNDP, IDB (Inter-American Development Bank) amongst others.
She has participated in diverse art projects and projects dealing with environmental sustainability, such as Drap Art in Barcelona, Arte Cien in Latin America and Re:NEW Festival in Pittsburgh, U.S.A.
Working with research and creative projects that are focused on the observation and reflection of the territory from a landscape perspective together with the historical and social contexts to create an artistic exchange of artists in different parts of the world.
The main focus of her work covers culture as a tool for intervention and social transformation, working on artistic projects that are accessible to all, for example public spaces or bringing projects to extreme geographical zones where access to culture is reduced.

Mohammad Saleh is the executive director of Disarming Design, a platform that empowers Palestinian designers and artisans and contributes to a more sustainable and independent Palestinian economy. He is currently a Jerusalem based ecological space designer and green activist. He has a degree in Psychology, and another in Musicology. He has been engaged in the cultural and art sector of Palestine for several years. Since 2015 he has been professionally designing sustainable and green spaces.

Pınar is a designer, a change agent and creative facilitator. She focuses on developing collaborative projects for local initiatives, companies and any organization pursuing resilience and transformation. She designs and facilitates sustainability trainings, co-design processes and capacity building workshops for multi stakeholder groups.
She co-initiated the Sustainable Living Film Festival and Surdurulebiliryasam.tv to raise awareness about sustainability challenges of our time and inspire individuals to become change makers. She is the CEO of Sarıyer Entrepreneur Women Cooperative; which supports women in the region with various projects.

Interior of the bus was designed to enable fifteen children do workshop at the same time by Yasemin Artut. The outside of the bus was covered with an illustration created to reflect theme by Çağrı Küçük- sayraç. Project was coordinated by Onur Berk Arslanoğlu. Our studio was responsible for the production process.
